He is the writer and creator of original TV drama series, Ian of Ghana, which he is currently developing. His recent work explores topics of belonging, home, and individualism.
An experienced and multidisciplinary creative writer, his approach to storytelling evolved out of a visual style of spoken word he performed at venues and literature festivals around the UK.
In 2020, he was commissioned by the UK's National Air Traffic Control to write its type-based poster collection, Respect at Work.
In 2021, he completed We Are Parable's mentorship programme for filmmakers, where he was paired with a development mentor.
As a lyricist, Dampare is also a member of musical duo, The Fullest.
